Kurobuta Pork is lean, with small, fine streaks of marbling. Compared with traditional white pork, Kurobuta Pork is darker in colour and very flavourful.
It also retains significantly more moisture after cooking which translates into a juicier product. The fat is also high in omega 3. Butchers comment on the texture of the fat and the way it isn't as sticky as the more commercialised pork products.
