Butchers Get Ready for Christmas

With the unprecedented growth of Bedrock Beef and Reef, Head Butcher Kristian Masterson said he had already started the preparation for his Special Recipe Christmas Hams. These hams are made the old fashioned way after firstly selecting the freshest pork. The Honey Due and Maple marinade is artery pumped into the muscle fibres of the meat, before a 16hr smoking and cooking process to create the perfect ham. Bedrock are not aware of anyone that goes to this level of care to produce the perfect ham.

Last year they were very popular and now that Bedrock have their new retail  shop open and selling them direct to public, they expect it to be a big season.

Kristian said the best way to secure a Bedrock Ham for Christmas was to come to the shop at 70 Chetwynd St, Loganholme and place an order soon.

Managing Director Matthew Masterson said he also expected it to be very busy with the demand for fresh Australian Prawns outstripping previous years The ongoing issues with imported prawns are starting to have an effect on the way people think about their health. All of Bedrocks prawns are sourced daily directly from local trawlers , and are free of antibiotics and other chemicals.

Another area that Matthew expected to be busy was the on-line ordering of meat, as Bedrock had recently upgraded its web site to improve this facility. As an added incentive,  anyone who places an order on-line at www.emeat.biz automatically goes in the draw to win a 42” LG Plasma TV. Matthew said it would make an ideal Christmas present as it would be drawn in- the store on Saturday 22nd December.
